I had the same setup as @aggieguy – 4-4-5 setup, same final room. But I could barely freaking get to that point – because every room in the third level required two or three birds to clear, which left me with next to nothing for the boss.
At this point I seriously think Rovio is giving different players different experiences to prevent us from warning and coordinating with each other.

Rovio is completely clueless. Not only did those idiots ban Dan from the game, they banned his name on in game chat! How stupid and petty you you dolts possibly be? Rovio should be paying, advertising, and supporting skilled content creators like Dan, an honest player who’s out there actively promoting their game for free, but instead the clowns at rovio decide to black ball him from the game. So pathetic
Ok – Yeah – Done. Another 4-5-6. Impossible to win as it was a Gem sucker for me. But I thought, ok, let me see if I spend Gems what type of luck I will have. I spent 240 gems to complete DC.
The KP landed between the flower on the left and the middle rock. Needed 6 birds to help push it to the flower and also get rid of the structure on the top right. First time for 60 gems I got Red, Blues and Chuck and for 180 gems got blues, Terrence and Silver.
And then when I went to KPP, it was even more difficult, micro birds hiding in places I cannot reach bit worst is no more video birds in KPP. This is the second time I am noticing. If I use Gems in DC, video birds disppear from KPP.
And to add insult to injury when I tried Arena today, and I truly wish I took screen shot, I was ahead by 13 million points (I was 31 million and opponet was 18 million) and I had two birds and opponent had 2 birds. Mine Stella plus Terrence and opponent Pig Inflater plus Matilda. Next bird we both used opponent jumped to 41 million where as I only got to 35 million. FP of both of us was exact same – (635 with extra bird). Looks like Rovio thought, since I already spent Gems, I will spend more Gems as this would have been my last win to complete the streak. I am beyond furious, because now I know for a fact, Rovio not only make it difficult but actually cheats you of wins deliberately so you will spend Gems.

I had another 4-4-5 today, completely different than what @arjrick had. The final room was not hard, but I had to play the DC twice because the birds I had left when I got there the first time were worthless. Had to have Bomb, Terrance, and Matilda to rid myself of the king pig.
Now we’ll see how the KPP goes.

The KPP wasn’t hard. The first king pig I thought would be it, but managed to beat it. Just make sure you have all of your heavy hitters. Does take some luck still with the flowers tossing the pig around a bit. Rounds 2 and 3 were easy. Just make sure you have Bomb, Grey, or Matilda for the final room on round 3 to dislodge the king pig. Stella is then good for floating him off the screen.

How is the order figured when multiple people have the same score….say 6. It seems to be random but there must be some order. It can make a big difference in BPs or feathers earned. Thought it might be flick power but doesn’t seem so

@yue-zhang I have same FP , I compared the hats , he has way more. Also has an 11 hat – no such thing unless they don’t show for the lowly. If he spent enough money to win that many pearls to buy all those hats and have a hundred k of them left, then he would have got a lot of feathers too and be way higher FP. Notice no mention of map level attained, star rank , #of gems, etc. This has to be a hacked up cheat engine account.

I don’t know the lower levels but it shouldn’t matter if you’re aiming higher:
Gold 2 = 515 points
Azure 1 = 805
Azure 2 = 1155
Emerald 1 = 1575

Amethyst 1 = 2675

Diamond 1 = 4295
Diamond 2 = 5285
Legendary = 6625
I don’t tend to follow videos unless I have a bad day, copying other people’s shots is all very well but if their flock power is such that they fill the destructometer quicker than you or they get a lucky rebound (more obvious in lava days, the video may have a large bolder knocking a structure over, you may get 3 pebbles) your available cards will completely differ from theirs by the time you’re a few rooms in.
For your own chances of improvement you have to learn to play your way by picking out the best shots and their possible consequences. Of course as you improve many others will too, other regular players increase flock power as they acquire feathers and complete hat sets, so as you think you get better your position may not increase as much.
Plagiarising someone else’s shots won’t make you a better player, analysing room layouts and considering the best shots in your mind will improve your play. More importantly you will learn by your mistakes.
Your account is worthless. If a genuine new player wants to achieve anything they will do it off of their own back. If a player is desperate to have as high FP and slingshot as possible then they will probably cheat their way to the ‘top’.

I have played this game in brief spurts since it came out. About a year ago I set up a clan when I decided to buy the daily gem letters and try to complete the daily quests. After that month I quit the game again. I restarted about a month and a half ago and decided to give it a more serious try. I went into the clan and was shocked to find it had 50 members. In the first clan battle only 2 people played ( myself + 1). So, I figured out how clans worked and kicked off 40 players that were showing they had not entered the clan for either 59 days or “greater than 30 days”. With 10 players we were matched with the same clan each battle. Only the one player answer in the chat. So I kicked 4 more leaving six and promoted the other player so he could still use it if I abandoned it. We got a variety of opponents all of the type where there are a couple of high FP and the rest really low while my six are more average. So, we always lose but don’t really care because the two of us who play are still in the top 4 or 5 and get some black pearls and completed daily quests.
The last battle I did not get notice of it. When I went in and saw the egg and tapped it l was told the battle had already started and I didn’t enter (true).
I put in a help request.
Since then I have been checking frequently and there have two challenges. Yesterday on one check the egg was there, I tapped it and received the entry screen, entered, and left thinking problem solved and did not check again and did not think to get a screenshot. This morning I go in to “play a clan event” and the CvC egg is gone and a third challenge is in its place.
I have read a lot of the clan invites and do not want to get into that. Partly because of the spending requirements but mostly because one is required to be sociable as well and as a low FP I am guaranteed to be encouraged (I am way too old to need or want that). And, as an elderly person I cannot guarantee that I could always play, or give notice when I can’t, or “politely leave the clan in advance of knowing I can’t play so I don’t mess things up”. My one person that plays is not chatty either.
I have not recruited to replace the 4 non players and don’t know if I ever will, but the battles are a bit fun and I hope Rovio has not cut me off from them forever.

@nas76, very helpful post, thanks. I do keep track of my progress to see if my game is improving enough to win higher levels in MEBC and it’s good to know what I need to average.
Your points about attempting to copy other videos is well taken, but if you find a source with similar FP to yours, the odds are better that you can achieve similar results.
And I have in fact learned a few things trying to duplicate some of the shots. One biggie was the realization that I don’t have to fire every bird at full velocity — that backing off a bit allows for more precise angles in some cases. (Better players are saying “well, duh” at this point.) Also, the timing of activating a bird (get it wrong, it bounces off). Etc. etc.
