DC is random and can choose any boss level. Later levels (beyond 1600) are extremely hard, some even impossible without the game go to pity mode. So if the game choose one of these for DC I just stop trying.

Something isn’t right with today’s DC. Or maybe I’m just being a sore loser, but n matter what I fling at the pig, his health doesn’t decrease in the way intended.
I just gave up and spent 60 gems and then 180 and still wasn’t able to defeat the pig. As a result I cannot complete all of today’s quests, but the final one requires me to play KPP, which I can’t get to because of not being able to complete the DC (I have a FP of 598 which includes 3x current Sub hats at x3 plus 10).
Ludicrous.
Incidentlaly @dezsike I am actually stuck on level 1760 in the map so I know what you mean about the boss levels there. Ridiculously hard.

@stevey I’ve just completed DC. It’s very tricky and require perfect timing.
1. Send Bomb directly to KP to push him into the flower at the right.
2. Use Blues to get rid of the obstacle between the slingshot and KP.
3. Use Terence to push KP into the left flower. Switch to Silver immediately after this shot.
4. While KP is flying shot Silver under him and activate her loop. She will knock KP out of the screen.

Same here Angry Turd. i try each day and i can sometimes get to room 6 but never with any birds left. i think Rovie screwed the pooch here. They made it too hard, didn’t give the use gems to buy your way out advantage, and sucked the fun out of it. It’s so exhausting playing the same a dozen times a day hoping to find another workaround solution. AND i have all the hats plus the hatchling double value going for me. Somebody please do a walkthrough. i’m over this!

I have seen a so-called “walkthrough” but, imo, find it passed room 6 mostly by lucks.
possible way to gurantee to roon 6 is,
room 1 with blue and chuck…
room2 with Matilda and bomb, possibly need one more chilly
room 3, chuck always strike this room
room 4, silver for the left. middle and bomb for the right
room 5, need some luck, I dont have PI, but bomb, red and Matilda sometimes break this room.
room 6, 2 birds left, need luck to overcome this room..I am so close to finish with only 1 pig survived in the left side.

Today’s DC is exactly what’s wrong with Angry Birds 2 lately and why it’s absolutely no fun anymore.
Bird power on that screen is nowhere near what it’s supposed to be nor what it is on every other screen on today’s DC except the boss screen. I’ve played it over several times to make sure. Direct hits on the Boss from Terrance, Bomb, or Silver do little damage on him, and what would normally wipe out the Boss rather quickly does nothing like that here.
I’ve played the sceen with all my birds intact at the start several times. On pretty much any other Boss screen if you scored direct hits on the Boss with all the birds, one after another, he’s gone or so close that one more move will finish him. But I hit him head-on with Terrance, head-on with Bomb, got a perfect headshot with Silver, and a perfect bomb drop on his head from Matilda, right in a row, and he at best has the band-aid on his head and is nowhere near being finished.
This is blatant cheating, Rovio.
Keep in mind that all that sudden lack of bird power is meant to make people spend more and more gems, which Rovio sells for real money. If a casino rigged their games to the extent that Rovio has been lately, they’d be under state investigation.
At best, I’m not wasting any more time on this dishonest game right now and I’m thinking about deleting it entirely. If I thought Rovio gave a flip about any of us actual players, I’d beg them to at least play honest and fair, but it’s clear lately they have no intention to do so.

The posts in this thread cover pretty well most of the Rovio greed issues with the Daily Challenge. And don’t get me started on the Arena, but its greed issues are covered well in other threads.
I just wanted to ask if you all are seeing what I’m seeing in the Daily Challenge: if you run out of birds and pay the initial 60 gems to get three more, and THOSE aren’t enough, then the next three are no longer 120, but 180 gems? And the three after that are now 360 gems?
And is this “inflation” going on for the Arena also?
I emailed Rovio Support, saying I thought this must be a bug b/c the increased charge is ridiculous. I have yet to hear back (it’s been a week), and I doubt I will, though I sent a follow-up today.
The next step is to SHAME this company on Twitter, in public. Not every game company has to follow the lead of the Candy Crushes of the virtual world. I would point to Hipster Whale with their Crossy Road and offshoots (both other games and other companies), where you can have fun, pay to have things progress a little faster, or don’t pay and still enjoy the game fully. That is an ethical approach to being a game vendor.
I guess when a game that has staff positions entitled “Game Economy Manager” … that should be a warning to Rovio users.

Room 1, I play Terrence for the strike
room 2 I use bomb for the top block and chili for the double pyramids, on very lucky days the lone guy on far right gets taken out without me having to send Matilda after him
room 3 Cheddar or blues for the strike
room 4 terrene or bomb can take out both first and middle towers then whatever i have left for the wild flock at the end.
room 5 I’m usually down to my least powerful birds, i rarely make it to room 7 and never with any birds still in tack!

otherwise, today I’ve done that daily challenge, king pic panic, arena & also apples in treasures (6 + 8 + 4 + 5 = 23 apples) so I think it’s not worth for me to buy such as apple pie for sake of hatchling lol.
