Apparently it does – at least that’s what I noticed… Always fire spells after firing a bird. Don’t use spells as the first card – wherever possible, of course.

But if thats the case, the exploding chili is the best at its job.

Yoshi, we discussed this a few weeks ago. I totally agree about using them second.

583 is by far the toughest I’ve faced. It took me 24 lives to finally beat it. I slowly began to accept that this level might be my resting point. I also spent whatever gems I had in the kitty too.

The spells should all be the same level as your highest leveled bird. The order in which you throw them should not matter. We’ll look into this. Thanks!

I totally agree that 583 was brutal. Took me 10 lives to beat this sucker and somehow not fall into the temptation of paying 60 gems.

Didn’t spend any gems but needed lots of patience on a few levels, especially 583. Unlike other areas of the game, the game will, at least eventually, let you win after many unsuccessful tries. Not so...

Saphira, now that my birds are maxed out at 10, I am, once again, getting only spells in the DC. Now the only place to get feathers is in the arena.

Something’s really wrong if, once again, the first “hard level” in the set is harder than the ones after it. I thought it was just me at first.

I don’t notice much, if any, difference in scores between bird and spell use or in the order in which they’re used.

@bankler So if my birds are Elder Bronze then my spells are also Elder Bronze?
View ArticleReply To: Do spells really level up?
@bankler I DEFINITELY get a much lower score outcome if I fire the spell before anything else. Total destruction in a room can’t net just 50,000-60,000 points when my highest levelled bird is at level 6.

DC streak is now 14 of 17. The DC has become very playable and winnable. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that its a sure thing or easy, but most players probably have enjoyed more wins of late. It’s...

Thought about this topic before I stopped being so prolific here, but I came across one that gives me nightmares. It wasn’t quite so bad in the arena as it was in the anti-gravity levels, but it was...
View ArticleReply To: Daily Challenge – what's the verdict?
@kelshe – I agree. When I do win I tend to only have one or zero birds remaining, so it’s a tight victory, but somehow that makes it more satisfying than if it had been super-easy.@heybert17 – I almost...
View ArticleReply To: About the Angry Birds 2 Arena
New to my Arena experience this week: every time I attempt to start a streak after winning the first wave, I get pitted against someone with a low star rank all birds at levels 10, 11 or even 12 and 5...

I had something very strange happen last night. In a usual 2 bird room I needed 7 birds, 2 of them got flung back, not just bounced, but flung almost the distance of the room, the only thing, they...

Others have mentioned and complained about this, and I have seen it before, but this is just wrong. I am clearly ahead in points and had already used 60 gems to get to that point, and after using bomb...
