I am not a community manager and it’s not in my job description to visit these forums, I do it so I can make the game better. This means that I won’t answer all your questions because I sadly don’t have the time or the resources to do so. Some issues I can’t answer, like frustration over physics, and some issues I can just tell you that we’re looking into, because we are.
I’ve had talks this week with our analyst, our product manager and producer among others to set time for us to look deeper into the Arena. Sadly, finding a problem and fixing it isn’t something you do in a minute, especially not for a live game with millions of players. We are very well aware of your feedback and we want to make your experience as good as possible.
I am a player just like you guys and I really like seeing fans discuss the game. One thing that needs to be kept in mind is that people on this forum is a huge minority of our player base. Any changes we make affects all the millions of players, new and old. This is one of the reasons that we can’t just flip a switch whenever you find something (even though we agree with your sentiment) in the game. We need to confirm it happens, check how many players it affects, consider how long it will take to change etc.
With that said, you guys have a huge impact on the game; don’t think anything else. You are our most loyal players and we truly value your opinions. I bring up all your experiences, good and bad, with the team. We discuss your opinions in our weekly team meetings and it helps us with the decision making. That’s why it’s important that you describe your experiences in a detailed and constructive way. We greatly thank you for doing so.
I am sorry I can’t answer all your questions. Right now I can tell you that we are currently looking at the Arena (win/fail rates, match making, cheaters, leagues changing) and I’ll keep you updated on our findings.
